Hester grew up in Springfield, Missouri, before meeting her husband, Scott, a native of Homer, Alaska. Over a decade ago, she relocated to Homer, where she has thrived as a mother to two wonderful daughters as well as successfully managing four short-term rental properties of her own. With a keen eye for design, Hester has overseen the transformation of numerous homes and vacation rentals, skillfully navigating the logistical challenges of sourcing materials for Homer’s remote coastal hamlet. Her expertise ensures projects stay on budget and on schedule while incorporating high-quality products and décor. Hester’s talent for creating inviting, beautiful spaces guarantees that you and your guests will feel right at home.

Scott was born and raised in Homer, Alaska, on 360 acres of land homesteaded by his grandparents in 1946. His family, now spanning four generations of lifelong Alaskans, has deep roots in the local community. Scott and his wife, Hester, are proud parents of two daughters. With a degree in Multimedia and Web Design, Scott has built a diverse career, including owning his own multimedia company and working nearly a decade in Alaska’s Arctic. Together, Scott and Hester have successfully managed four of their own vacation rentals.

Now, Scott leverages his extensive skills to help property owners in Homer create unforgettable Alaskan experiences for their guests. He offers professional photography, videography, and drone footage to craft top-notch property listings. Partnering with Hester, Scott provides comprehensive management services, handling every detail from start to finish to help you achieve your short-term rental goals.
